Kevin served as the Vice President and Chief HR Officer in the Office of Human Resources at Arizona State University. A leader for over thirty years, Kevin navigated his rising career across many notable organizations and brands, including Pepsi-Cola Company, Central Newspapers Inc. (which operated seven daily newspapers including The Arizona Republic and The Indianapolis Star), and Arizona Public Service.
Kevin specialized in employee and labor relations, organizational development, performance-based cultures, inclusive work environments and leadership coaching.
Kevin created Your Afternoon Mentor for those who are starting their professional journey working in organizations. He enjoys working with people in early to mid-career who have the education, training, optimism and drive to succeed. He is here to explain the basics of navigating your career journey and maximizing your professional potential. He completed his career trek and learned success at the senior level is not as mystical or elusive as it appears. He wants to share these lessons with you.
In his personal life, he enjoys working in his community, traveling, hiking, rafting, and flying gliders and spending time with his wife, Toni, his daughters and friends.
